Description

A photograph installation accompanied by underwater sounds of the Baltic Sea is built in the front yard of Annantalo.

In the Lighthouse, new and never-seen-before species of plankton painted by children come together. They gather around the Lighthouse under the aquatic plants painted by Ulla-Maija.

The work is part of the Helsinki Biennial Inspired series. Helsinki Biennial is an international visual arts event that brings outstanding contemporary art to maritime Helsinki every two years. The first biennial will be held in Vallisaari from 12 June to 26 September 2021.

The exhibition is open during the opening times of Annantalo:
