Description

At this functional exhibition, visitors can paint with water, look at shadows and silhouettes, and marvel at the Baltic Sea.

Produced by the Harakka Nature Centre and Annantalo, the exhibition dives into the richness, beauty and incredible soundscape of the archipelago environment. Tuula Närhinen’s Groteskit (‘Grotesques’) photo series features imaginative figures emerging from the rocks.

The work is part of the Helsinki Biennial Inspired series. Helsinki Biennial is an international visual arts event that brings outstanding contemporary art to maritime Helsinki every two years. The first biennial will be held in Vallisaari from 12 June to 26 September 2021.

The exhibition is open during the opening times of Annantalo.
