This year marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Finnish poet Edith Södergran.

The Aino Ackté Chamber Festival Association is organising a poetry concert at Lapinlahti Lähde for Finland's most internationally renowned poet, whose work has been translated into more than 40 languages.

Edith Södergran was born in St Petersburg on 4 April 1892 and died in Raivola on June 24 1923. The concert will feature poems by Södergran and music by Claude Debussy, Cesar Francke, Jean Sibelius and others.
