Description

The feelings of alienation and being an outsider are central themes in the works of artist Catarina Ryöppy.

The artist has discovered and collected the items in the Inventarium exhibition over decades from various places such as flea markets around the world. The abundance of unusual and strange items inspires you to think about their stories, consumption and relationship to objects.

Where do all the things go when people cease to exist? The items found in various countries are directly connected to the culture around them but the exhibition also gives them broader meaning and a connection to historical world events.
