Description

In the Nightfall is an event-like and changing multitemporal and -spatial installation between the cemetery and the sea by artist and lecturer Maiju
Loukola. The installation is also an end-of-life escorting of a four-year artistic research project Floating Peripheries – mediating the sense of place
(1.9.20217–31.8.2021) as it is seen off to its final rest by the artist and her colleagues, individually invited to nightfall dialogues during the final month.

The exhibition is a part of Uniarts Helsinki’s
fourth Research Pavilion, taking place in Hietsun Paviljonki and its surroundings in Helsinki 5 June – 29 August 2021.
