Life is like a never-ending river. The life shifts and so do we. Pink Floyd’s suggestive music becomes a scenery of tones and atmospheres that takes the listener through life to the darkness of the abyss and back again to the light and the life. Don’t miss this opportunity to become seduced by hyptnotic lights, timeless music and a world-class production. We know that you have longed for this. So have we.
P- Floyd was formed in 1993 by guitar player and band leader Jan Stumnser. Since 1998 the band has each summer gained thousands of floydians from all over Sweden to concerts in the small village Skog. The last four years the band has done tours of Swedish concert houses as well as doing their own concert version of The Wall.
During the 2004 tour the band recorded the live album “Floydian Waves”. In August 2006 they made a hugely successful show in front of 8000 fans in Dalhalla, one of the world’s most unique and beautiful outdoor venues, built in a gigantic limestone quarry. The concert was a massive experience with a symphony orchestra, actors, lasers, pyro etc and it was filmed by Swedish national TV. In early 2007 the 90 minutes long documentary on P-Floyd was seen by 270000 viewers. The concerts was also released as a DVD. Massive, impressive and professional are just a few of the testimonials the band has received. One of the reasons to the success is the face that P-Floyd dares to be something else than just a copy of the original. This goes both for the actual music and the overall presentation of the Floydian atmosphere.
