Kokonainen Festival is looking for a new composer in residence for 2021–2023 through a competition.
The programme for February’s Caisa Classequal concert will be the finale for this competition, at the end of which the jury will select the winner from the six compositions heard on stage.
The pieces will be performed by Kokonainen Ensemble, comprising some of the top Finnish professional musicians. The finale concert is also part of the largest contemporary music festival in Finland, Musica Nova Helsinki.
Kokonainen ry is a chamber music association that produces equal art music.
