Towards a show: Appliance party – Small Size Days

The Appliance party is an interactive show combining dance and media art for 2–5-year-old children, which is inspired by children’s wish to do household chores together with their family.

The interactive media installations made of cardboard look like magical appliances and modify the space around them, encouraging the children to dance and do things together.

The work designed by dance artist Satu Tuomisto and media artist Aku Meriläinen has reached a stage where they would like to invite children as experience experts to review and assess the future performance.
