Tritonus, based on the best-selling novel by Kjell Westö, is a production building on the interaction between the author himself, his novel and top-notch musicians.

Tritonus is a book that is thematically exceptionally rich, yielding an almost inexhaustible supply of universal yet topical themes, such as the importance of friendship and music, major fears of people today from pandemics to eco-disasters, and the human need for healing as part of a community.

The production features ten musicians in addition to the author. There are hundreds of musical references in the novel Tritonus, explored here by musicians such as guitarist Mikko Kosonen, pianist Tuomas Turriago and mezzosoprano Jenny Carlstedt. Paulina Ahokas, Managing Director of Tampere Hall, is the interviewer.

Duration: about 1 h 10 min, no interval
