Description

The exhibition is closed on January due to coronavirus situation.

It is a story of divorce, love and the endless unfinished process of being human. The exhibition gives viewers a glimpse into world behind the novel, and colours its pages in the bleak, self-ironic style characteristic of Ahtinen’s work. Lauri Ahtinen (b.1983 Raahe) is an Oulu-based cartoon artist, pattern designer, children's book author and painter. In reality, Lauri Ahtinen is a father in a blended family, who suffers from slight climate crisis anxiety, and feels angst about his teenage children and his middle-aging self.

Eropäiväkirja is part of the Kaikki kotona (All at Home) exhibition, that was exhibited at Annantalo in the spring of 2020. The exhibition hopes to open new avenues for viewers to consider the notion of families and the everyday in all its varied forms.

Language: Finnish

Annantalo is closed from 30th November to 20th December.
