Vladimir Vysotsky (1938–1980) was a Russian poet and a singer. He was one of the best-known Russian troubadours of his time, although he was never officially acknowledged during his life.
The beloved artist is annually celebrated at the Vysotsky festival held by the SATA KIELI culture association.
